Rahul Gandhi says the party has disrupted the "Modi Idea" and reveals the Congress's battle plan against Modi.

Beginning with the nationalization of banks in the 1970s and the openness of the economy in the 1990s, Gandhi traced the Congress' history of adaptation. He attributed this capacity to Mahatma Gandhi's foundation. The Lok Sabha MP discussed how the Congress defeated the Modi government by overcoming major challenges, including as frozen bank accounts, in their reflections on the 2024 elections. Gandhi asserted that in spite of these obstacles, the party succeeded in destroying the fundamental basis of the "Modi idea." Gandhi said during the debate about the importance of the Indian Constitution and how the voters understood the need to defend it in the election.

He underlined that the underprivileged, deprived of their rights, and persecuted in India realized the value of upholding the Constitution, which sparked an unanticipated backlash. Gandhi also questioned the fairness of the most recent elections, claiming that in a free and fair campaign, the BJP would not have won over 240 seats. He seemed sceptical about the Prime Minister's personal conflicts, suggesting that he had seen early on that things were not going as planned. Gandhi moreover foresaw challenges for the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections, contending that the coalition that propelled Modi to power had disintegrated. He claims that the "Modi idea" has been superseded by a relationship between large corporations and the Dalits, OBCs, and lower castes.

He concluded by saying that the Congress party will keep working to protect the principles found in the Constitution, promote unity among its people, and create a better future for India.
